New Disney Show Villains Tonight

Disney Magic 3/23/2010 |

For any of you about to cruise on the magic, the new show Villains tonight is out and amazingly fantastic, we were on the 7 night western Caribbean cruise last week and on 3/23 and got a preview of it, the big wigs from Disney called it a soft opening or the final dress rehearsal before the main premier this week, but let me say the show did not disappoint. It was a totally different spin with our favorite Disney villains, new colorful and contemporary sets, creative dialogue with the Disney songs we all love and a spice of sophisticated humor. The show had a little something for everyone.
The show focused around Hades, and his rule of the underworld, it seems that the underworld is no longer evil enough and he needs to get some help from a few friends to fill back up the evilometer or he will be kicked out. Of course pain and panic were there throughout, causing mayhem and mischief. The villains coming to his assistance were;
1) Dr Facilier, from princess and the frog (good thing I had just gone to see the movie in the Buena Vista theater)
2) Ursula from the little mermaid as a lounge singer, with plenty of cute mermaids for the dads.
3) Scar from the Lion King along with his hyenas. In fact they cast utilized the stages and aisles through out the performance.
4) Yzma and Kronk. The actor who played Kronk sounded and acted so much like Patrick Warburton, he did an amazing job.
5) Evil queen and Maleficent
6) Captain hook and his pirates and a rocking song version of a pirates life for me.
7) Cruella with her own runway show “Project Cruella” displaying her latest creations of spotted clothing.
8) Then Hades hosted his own talk show (Jerry Springer want a be) called talk hot pining minions against masters. It took a strange turn in the end, but was funny.
I will let the final outcome be a surprise as to whether Hades gets to stay as lord of the underworld, but I will say this…This show is fresh and creative and a must see the next time you are in the magic. I hope they also show it on the wonder and new ships.

More articles Billy Jack Out of the unorganized anarchy of the 1960s era counterculture arose a story preaching nonviolence but defending the innocence with hapkido. Billy Jack delivered its nonviolent sermons with a healthy dose of ass-kicking on politically correct villains. Long Term Asset Erosion Solution: The Generation Skipping Trust We have what is called the American Dream here in the United States, and part of it involves opportunity. When people try to make villains of those who have been successful to garner support for high taxes they seem to lose sight of that fact. Anyone, even an immigrant, can conceivably build wealth here. Be the Villain for Halloween This Year Heroes get all the press, but villains have the most fun. Consider these interesting villain costumes for Halloween this year, and foil your nemesis. Survivor Redemption Island Season Recap Set in Nicaragua yet again, the show introduced two new twists to the game. The first was the introduction of Redemption Island, a place those who get voted out must go where they will get shots at re-entering the game as they had to duel the next person voted out, and so on. The next twist was what came off the helicopter after both teams met on the beach thinking they were starting the game as is. Off of one helicopter was one of the most popular Survivor contestants ever to play the game in Boston Rob Mariano, and the second helicopter revealed one of the biggest "villains" in the games history, Russell Hantz. Both players were set to re-join the game and given yet another chance to win it all (third time for Russell, fourth for Rob). Great Movie Villains A great movie needs a great villain. Someone for the hero to stand off against so we can see how the great the hero really is. Some films get it right but even more don't seem to bother. They concentrate on the hero and just leave the villain to be a caricature. Here are some of the best movie villains. W:5,S:21 |
